Refund policy

Last updated 22 September 2026

When you get your money back, and when you don't. One rule, and it's the first line on the page.

The rule, in one line

If no guest has sent a photo yet, you get all your money back, no questions. Once guests have started sending photos, the Event Pass has done what you bought it for, so it isn't refundable.

Why that line

The first guest photo is the moment the thing you paid for actually happened. Before it, you've received nothing and we've spent nothing. After it, we're storing your photos and serving them back to you for a year.

It also means you control the deadline rather than us — there's no 14-day window quietly running out while you're busy planning a wedding.

You shouldn't have to buy blind

Every new event runs free for its first 10 photos. Scan your own QR code, take a few shots, see them appear in your gallery, and decide then. We'd much rather you tested it first than asked for your $59 back afterwards.

If we break it, you get your money back

The rule above is about changing your mind. It is not a way for us to keep your money when we've failed you. If the service was down during your event, or photos your guests sent didn't reach your gallery because something on our side went wrong, email us and we will refund you, whether or not photos had started arriving.

Tell us the date and roughly what happened. We keep server logs and we will actually go and look.

Top-ups

Extra photo packs work the same way: refundable while unused, not once photos have been added against them. If you bought a pack you turned out not to need and none of it was used, just ask.

How to ask

Email [email protected]from the address on the account, and say which event it's about. We'll reply within two business days, and approved refunds go back to the card you paid with — Stripe usually takes five to ten business days to return it to your statement.

Before you call your bank

If you think you've been charged wrongly, email us first. A chargeback takes weeks, gets a stranger at your bank involved, and we can almost always sort it out the same day. We'd rather just fix it.
