Terms of service
Last updated 22 September 2026
The deal between us, in plain English. No clause here is written to catch you out — if any of it reads that way, tell us and we'll rewrite it.
Who you're dealing with
Cricky Creations is a small business run by Ricky and Christa Brooks. It is not a large company with a support department — it is us. You can reach a real person at [email protected].
What the service does
You create an event and we give you a QR code. Your guests scan it and take photos in their phone's browser — no app, no account. Those photos land in a private gallery only you can open, and you can download them whenever you like.
Your account
You need an email address and a password. We'll ask you to confirm the email before you pay, because a paid event that lands in an inbox you don't read is a problem we'd both rather avoid. Keep your password to yourself — anyone who has it can open your galleries.
What you're buying
- An Event Pass is $59 and covers one event, including 1,000 photos.
- Need more room? A top-up adds 250 photos for $15, and you can add as many as you need.
- A new event runs free in Setup Mode for its first 10 photos so you can test it before paying. You can have up to 3 unpaid events open at once.
- Prices are in US dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Your gallery comes down after a year
This is the most important thing on this page, so it isn't buried: we delete your photos one year after your event. We'll email you 30 days before that happens so you have time to download the full-resolution album, and you can download it at any point before then.
Download your photos. Don't treat this as the only copy of your wedding — keep your own, somewhere you control.
Your guests, your QR code
Anyone holding your QR code can add photos to your gallery. That is the point of it, and it also means you decide who gets one. You can remove any photo from your gallery yourself, and removed photos go to a Removed view where you can restore them if you change your mind.
If something ends up in your gallery that shouldn't be there and you want it gone for good, email us.
What you agree not to do
- Upload anything illegal, or any image of someone who has told you they don't want to be photographed.
- Upload sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses or threatens someone. This is the one thing we'll act on immediately and without warning.
- Try to reach galleries that aren't yours, break the photo limits, or run scripts against the service.
- Resell the service as if it were your own.
If an account is used for any of that, we may remove the content and close the account. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.
What we can't promise
We work hard to keep this running, especially on a Saturday night. But we're not promising it will never be down, and we can't control your venue's WiFi, your guests' phones, or their signal. If a photo never leaves a guest's phone because the reception hall has no bars, that isn't something we can fix from here.
If we fail you in a way that's genuinely our fault, what we owe you is capped at what you paid us. We're a two-person business; we can't take on liability for the value of a wedding.
Refunds
Covered on its own page, so it's easy to find rather than hidden in a paragraph here. See our refund policy.
Changes to these terms
If we change something that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and we'll email you if the change affects an event you've already paid for. Carrying on using the service after a change means you're happy with it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
